Opened in 2002, it serves as the home venue for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The arena has a seating capacity of approximately 18,000 for basketball games and hosts various other events including concerts and sporting competitions. Formerly known by other names including Ford Center and Chesapeake Energy Arena, it received its current name through a naming rights agreement with Paycom, an Oklahoma-based payroll and HR technology company.
