Only if that exact formula has a disinfectant claim and directions on its label; pine scent alone is not proof. Check whether the floor is sealed and whether the label names wood as an approved surface. Some pine-scented cleaners warn against unfinished, unsealed, waxed, oiled, or worn wood, so test a hidden area and do not assume all pine formulas behave alike ([Pine-Sol guidance](https://www.pinesol.com/products/original-pine-cleaner/)).

There is no safe universal ratio because pine cleaners have different concentrations. For example, one EPA label specifies 5 tablespoons per gallon for its disinfecting use, but that number must not be transferred to another bottle ([EPA label](https://www3.epa.gov/pesticides/chem_search/ppls/000551-00101-19760130.pdf)).

It can leave a temporary shine by removing light soil and leaving a thin film, but it is not automatically a dedicated furniture polish. Use a cloth and a small amount on compatible sealed wood, because excess cleaner can leave the surface slippery or cloudy.
