Preah Sakyamoni Chedi

The landmark called Preah Sakyamoni Chedi is at Phnom Oudong, Cambodia, the former royal capital north of Phnom Penh. It is not the stupa inside Phnom Penh's Silver Pagoda complex, so those two locations should not be conflated.

It is a Buddhist relic stupa associated with sacred Buddha relics and traditional Khmer religious architecture. Its hilltop setting at Oudong also places it among Cambodia's royal and Buddhist monuments.

The Silver Pagoda, also called Wat Preah Keo Morakot, is a temple within Phnom Penh's Royal Palace complex. Preah Sakyamoni Chedi is a separate stupa at Oudong, associated with Buddha relics rather than the Royal Palace temple itself.
