In Puyo Pop, you clear blobs by rotating and placing falling colored puyo pieces so that four or more puyos of the same color are connected horizontally or vertically. When a group of four matches, those puyos pop and disappear, and any puyos resting on top fall down, potentially triggering chain reactions. Setting up intentional chains is the core strategy, as larger chains send garbage puyos to your opponent in versus mode.
