How many drives does the QNAP TS-832PX hold?

The TS-832PX has eight hot-swappable 3.5-inch SATA drive bays. It can also accept compatible 2.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs in those bays.

Does the TS-832PX really use Intel Xeon processors?

No. QNAP lists the TS-832PX with an AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL324 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor running at 1.7 GHz.

What network ports are built into the TS-832PX?

It has two 10GbE SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports. The combination is aimed at fast file sharing and other bandwidth-heavy NAS workloads.

Can I replace a TS-832PX drive without shutting down the NAS?
