description Resolution Overview
Michael takes drastic action to help his drug-addicted friend Chris, confining him in an isolated cabin to force him through withdrawal. Peter Cilella plays Michael in this 2012 American independent horror film, directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead from Benson's screenplay. The intervention begins as a strained confrontation between friends before unexplained photographs and recordings suggest that something else is shaping their experience. The cabin setting keeps the human conflict close, while scattered narrative fragments turn observation itself into a source of danger.
Rather than using discovered media solely to document events, the film asks who is arranging a story and what an ending might demand. Its self-referential supernatural mystery suits viewers interested in independent horror that develops ideas through character friction. Although recorded material is essential to the plot, the film uses conventional camerawork rather than presenting everything as recovered footage.
