RISAT-2B is an Indian radar imaging reconnaissance satellite launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in May 2019. The satellite operates an X-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR) that allows it to capture high-resolution Earth imagery day and night, regardless of weather conditions. Positioned in a low Earth orbit, it augments India's space-based surveillance capabilities for military and strategic applications.
