Rochefort Abbey

Rochefort Abbey, officially the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy, brews strong, dark Trappist ales famously known by their numbered caps: 6, 8, and 10. They have been brewing beer on-site in Belgium's Namur province since the 17th century.

While the abbey grounds are largely closed to the public to preserve the monks' privacy, there is a nearby visitor center where guests can watch a film about monastic life. However, the beer is not sold directly at the abbey; it is strictly distributed to local merchants and supermarkets.
