Roseville Sunflower

description Roseville Sunflower Overview

Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio, produced the Sunflower line in the 1930s. The pattern features molded sunflower blossoms and foliage arranged in relief on textured, earth-toned grounds. Like other Roseville art pottery lines, Sunflower was produced in a range of forms including vases, bowls, and wall pockets. Roseville Pottery was one of several Ohio-based manufacturers that produced art pottery during the early 20th century, and Sunflower is collected as an example of American Arts and Crafts-era ceramics.
