Ruth Law was an American aviator who became known for exhibition flying and record-setting long-distance flights during the early history of aviation. In November 1916, she flew a Curtiss pusher biplane from Chicago to Hornell, New York, covering about 590 miles and setting an American cross-country distance record. She later supported wartime Red Cross and Liberty Loan campaigns through public aviation performances.
