Saint-Mathieu Esker, also called the Saint-Mathieu-Berry esker, is a fluvioglacial sedimentary ridge and aquifer system in Abitibi, Quebec. Its permeable sands, gravels, cobbles, and locally confined sediments store and transmit groundwater; the wider esker extends about 120 kilometres and supplies wells in the Amos area. It is studied in geology, hydrogeology, groundwater protection, and aggregate-management contexts.
