You pair the drive over Bluetooth and authenticate through the SecureData Lock app. The app supports both Android and iOS, while the drive itself uses USB 3.0 for ordinary file access after it is unlocked.
What happens after too many failed SecureDrive BT unlock attempts?
SecureDrive BT uses hardware-level AES-XTS 256-bit encryption and can delete its hardware key after 10 failed attempts. The drive is also listed as FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated, so this is more than a normal software password on a USB disk.
Does SecureDrive BT need a driver on Windows or macOS?
