Shanghai Tower is a 632-metre skyscraper in Shanghai's Lujiazui financial district and one of three landmark towers grouped there. Designed by the architectural firm Gensler, it has 128 above-ground stories and a rounded, asymmetrical exterior that twists as it rises. Its layered double-skin facade encloses atrium spaces, while the building contains offices, hotel accommodation, observation facilities, retail areas, and other mixed uses.
