Showtime Hold'em is a Hold'em variant in which hole cards discarded by a player are turned face up for the remaining players to see. The exposed cards provide information about possible hands, unavailable draws, and the cards removed from play. Because folded hands become public, decisions about folding affect the information available in later betting rounds as well as the size of the remaining field.
