The Shubert Theatre is a historic Broadway playhouse located at 225 West 44th Street in Manhattan, New York City. Built by the Shubert brothers and designed by architect Henry B. Herts, it opened in 1913 as a flagship venue for the Shubert Organization. With approximately 1,460 seats, the theater features Renaissance-style architecture and has hosted numerous long-running productions.
Most notably, it served as the home for "A Chorus Line" from 1975 to 1990, which set the record at the time for Broadway's longest-running show.
