Sniper Elite 5 takes the series' signature long-range stealth to new heights. Set in WWII France, it features massive, open-ended maps that allow for a variety of infiltration styles. While sniping is the core, the game provides excellent tools for close-quarters stealth, including silenced weapons, traps, and melee takedowns. The ballistics system is incredibly satisfying, and the 'X-Ray Kill Cam' remains a highlight. It is a polished, highly replayable experience that balances the patience of sniping with the tension of sneaking through enemy-occupied territory.
