Stiphra robusta is a grasshopper species in the family Proscopiidae, a group of South American orthopterans. Mello-Leitão described it in 1939, with the holotype recorded from Paraíba, Brazil; specimen records also include Piauí. The species is associated with northeastern Brazil and has been studied as an agricultural insect because population increases can damage vegetation.
