Stromer ST1 X

The Stromer ST1 X is a Class 3 speed pedelec equipped with a powerful 750W rear hub motor, allowing it to reach top assisted speeds of 28 mph (45 km/h). This high speed allows commuters to easily keep pace with urban traffic. The speed is electronically regulated to comply with local traffic laws.

Depending on the terrain and level of pedal assistance used, the ST1 X boasts a range of up to 90 miles (145 km) on a single charge. The bike is equipped with a removable, high-capacity lithium-ion battery that integrates directly into the frame. This range makes it ideal for long-distance urban commuting.

Instead of a traditional metal chain, the Stromer ST1 X utilizes a highly durable Gates carbon belt drive system. This belt drive is completely silent, requires no oil, and lasts significantly longer than a standard bicycle chain. It pairs perfectly with the bike's internal geared hub for zero-maintenance shifting.

Despite its powerful motor and large battery, the ST1 X is considered relatively lightweight and agile for a premium commuter e-bike, weighing roughly 55 to 60 lbs. The aluminum frame helps keep the weight down compared to steel models. This design makes it slightly easier to handle and maneuver when the motor is turned off.
