description Sunshine 60 Overview
Sunshine 60 is a 60-story skyscraper in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, completed in 1978. Rising about 240 metres, it was the tallest building in Asia when it opened and formed the central high-rise element of the Sunshine City complex. The building combines office space with public observation facilities and remains a recognizable example of Japan’s late-1970s urban tower construction.
