The Bus Is Coming, also known as Ghetto Revenge, is a 1971 American drama directed by Wendell James Franklin and written by Horace Jackson. It follows Billy, a Black veteran returning from Vietnam for the funeral of his brother Joe Mitchell, a school-board member whose death has inflamed the community. Billy encounters the Black Fist organization, which calls for a rally and blames racist police and local political figures for the killing. Its plot centers on conflict among grieving relatives, activists, police, and local officials.
