The Children

description The Children Overview

The Children is a 2016 play by British dramatist Lucy Kirkwood. Set in a cottage on the English coast after a nuclear power station accident, it reunites three retired nuclear scientists whose shared past complicates a consequential moral choice. Through their conversations, the play examines aging, personal responsibility, environmental damage, and the obligations one generation owes to those that follow.
