The Dollar Bottom is a 1981 British short film directed by Roger Christian and adapted from a story by R. F. Delderfield. Set at a Scottish boys' school, it follows pupils who create an insurance scheme intended to compensate any participant who receives corporal punishment, only to face resistance when the arrangement comes to an adult's attention.

The film won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
