description TOI-700 b Overview
TOI-700 b is a transiting, approximately Earth-sized exoplanet discovered by NASA's TESS mission in the TOI-700 system. It orbits an M dwarf every about 10 days and is the innermost of the system's currently known planets. Its short orbital distance gives it more stellar irradiation than the farther-out TOI-700 d, which receives roughly Earth-like insolation.
