description Trezor One Overview

The Trezor One was the world's first hardware wallet, but it is now largely obsolete. It lacks a modern secure element chip and has a very basic, low-resolution screen. While it remains a piece of crypto history and is still technically supported by Trezor Suite, it does not meet the security and usability standards of 2025. Users looking for a Trezor device should opt for the Safe 3 or Safe 5, which provide significantly better security, modern hardware, and a much improved user experience.

The Trezor One is no longer a recommended purchase for new users.
