Victoria (2015)

Victoria is a crime thriller filmed in a single, continuous 138-minute take. The technical achievement alone is staggering, but the film also manages to build genuine, escalating tension as a night out in Berlin spirals into a bank robbery. Because there are no cuts, the audience feels every moment of the characters' panic and exhaustion. While the plot has some logical stretches, the sheer intensity of the 'real-time' experience makes it a unique and gripping watch.

It is a bold experiment that largely succeeds in keeping the viewer fully immersed.
