Acmaea mitra is a marine gastropod in the limpet family Lottiidae. It occurs on rocky intertidal shores along the Pacific coast of North America, with a known range extending from Alaska to Baja California. The species is recognized by its tall, steeply ribbed, bright white conical shell and, like other limpets, uses a broad muscular foot to cling to rock while grazing on surfaces exposed to the sea.
