WWE 2K14

The 30 Years of WrestleMania mode is WWE 2K14's flagship single-player experience, allowing players to relive dozens of iconic WrestleMania matches from 1985 through 2013. Each match includes historical objectives that must be completed to unlock classic arenas, attires, and superstars. It was widely praised as one of the best historical modes in any wrestling game.

The Rock was chosen as the cover star because of his high-profile return to WWE programming and his headline match against John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. It was the first game in the series published under the 2K Sports label after THQ's bankruptcy transferred the WWE license. The Rock also served as the focal character for the 30 Years of WrestleMania promotional campaign.

WWE 2K14 is not included in the Xbox backward compatibility program and cannot be played natively on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S. It remains exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. No remaster or re-release has been announced.

WWE 2K14 was developed by Yuke's and published by 2K Sports, releasing in October 2013 in North America with subsequent launches in Europe, Japan, Australia, and India. It was the first WWE game published by 2K after acquiring the license from THQ. Yuke's had been the primary developer of the series since the original SmackDown games on PlayStation.
