description Yarrow Overview

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a perennial flowering plant in the daisy family, recognized by its finely divided, feathery leaves and flat-topped clusters of small white, pink, or pale red flower heads. It occurs across much of the Northern Hemisphere and tolerates meadows, grasslands, roadsides, and disturbed soils. Its botanical name is linked to the Greek hero Achilles, while its leaves and flowers have also been used in traditional herbal practices.
