Domaine Leflaive is situated in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, located in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. The estate has been operational for centuries and is currently led by Anne-Claude Leflaive. The region is globally recognized as the premier terroir for Chardonnay grapes.

The wine is made entirely from 100% Chardonnay grapes, which is the standard varietal for white wines produced in the Côte d'Or region of Burgundy.
