Lasioglossum leucozonium is a ground-nesting sweat bee in the family Halictidae, originally described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758. It is native across much of Eurasia and has also become established in North America, where it is regarded as introduced. Females excavate nests in exposed or sparsely vegetated soil, and adults visit flowers from multiple plant families rather than depending on a single pollen source.
