Axonius connects to existing systems through adapters and correlates the asset records they already hold. Sources can include Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, endpoint tools, cloud platforms, Qualys, Tenable, and Rapid7.

What happens when two Axonius adapters report the same laptop differently?

Axonius correlates records from multiple adapters into a unified asset profile while retaining source-specific details. That lets an analyst see, for example, that a laptop appears in an identity directory but is missing from the approved endpoint-protection console.

Can Axonius automatically fix an asset-policy violation?

Its Action Center can run Enforcement Sets and workflows against assets matching a query. Actions can update a CMDB, open a ticket, notify another system, or invoke supported remediation through a connected adapter.

Can Axonius run in a private cloud or on premises?

Yes, Axonius documents customer-hosted deployments for on-premises and private-cloud environments. Compute Node virtual machines can also relay data from segregated networks to the primary Axonius node over an encrypted connection.
