Sagrada

description Sagrada Overview

Sagrada is a strategic board game where players compete to construct Antoni Gaudí’s unfinished basilica through careful tile placement and resource management, mirroring the architect's complex design process.

help Sagrada FAQ

Does Sagrada involve building Antoni Gaudí's basilica?

Players do not construct the basilica itself. They draft colored dice to create stained-glass windows for the Sagrada Família, placing them in personal 4-by-5 window grids.

How do the dice-placement rules work in Sagrada?

Orthogonally adjacent dice cannot share the same color or number, while some window spaces require a particular color or shade. Tool cards let players bend placement or movement rules by spending favor tokens.

Can Sagrada be played solo or with more than four players?

The 2017 base game supports 1 to 4 players and includes 90 translucent dice. Floodgate Games also published a 5 & 6 Player Expansion for larger groups.

What is the difference between Sagrada and Sagrada Artisans?

Sagrada is a replayable dice-drafting puzzle completed in a single sitting. Sagrada Artisans is a campaign-style legacy game in which rival families color windows and make changes across multiple generations.
