IKEA FREDDE Gaming Desk

IKEA says the FREDDE can accommodate two 24-inch flat screens. Removing the shelf above the desktop also creates room for a single monitor or television up to 32 inches.

The desk is about 74 cm deep and 146 cm high, with an adjustable overall width of roughly 140 to 185 cm. Its tall side panels and shelving make it substantially bulkier than a plain rectangular desk.

The rear structure provides places to route and contain cables, and IKEA lists the SIGNUM cable trunking as a compatible addition. The desk also includes movable side shelves and built-in cup holders.

A clamp may be difficult because the raised rear shelf and support structure limit access to the back edge of the desktop. Measure the clamp depth and clearance carefully before buying an arm, since IKEA does not advertise the FREDDE as a monitor-arm desk.
