Terminal Geyser

description Terminal Geyser Overview

Terminal Geyser is a geothermal feature in Warner Valley at Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. Despite its name, it is not a true geyser that periodically erupts a column of water; instead, a cold stream flows across a geothermal steam vent. The feature is therefore an example of why volcanic landscapes can contain misleadingly named thermal features, and it is encountered as a trail destination in the Lassen area.
