Skansen Aquarium Stockholm

Skansen Aquarium is located inside Skansen in Stockholm, Sweden. Skansen itself is an open-air museum founded in 1891.

The aquarium exhibits both Scandinavian and exotic species. Its collection therefore combines animals associated with Sweden's local environment with species from warmer or more distant regions.

It operates as an attraction within the Skansen open-air museum complex. A visit can therefore combine the aquarium exhibits with Skansen's historic buildings, cultural displays, and other animal areas.
