Wico Command Control Joystick

The classic Wico Command Control is generally a digital arcade-style joystick using switches for directional input, despite some product descriptions using the word analog loosely. It was designed for systems such as the Atari 2600 rather than for modern analog-axis simulation.

The Wico joystick was commonly used with Atari-compatible home systems and early computer game setups that used a 9-pin joystick interface. A modern PC needs a suitable USB adapter or interface because the original connector is not USB.

Its textured ball-top grip and firm switch action resemble an upright arcade control more closely than a small home joystick. That makes it especially appealing for games that expect discrete four-way movement and a dedicated fire button.

It can provide basic digital input through an adapter, but it is not a modern analog flight stick with graduated pitch and roll axes. A current simulator such as Microsoft Flight Simulator normally benefits from an analog joystick, throttle, and rudder setup instead.
