Abralia trigonura is a valid species of enoploteuthid squid in the genus Abralia. It is recorded from the central and western North Pacific, including the Hawaiian Islands and waters off Japan, and occupies mesopelagic to epipelagic waters while making daily vertical migrations. The species reaches about 37 mm in mantle length and has numerous ventral photophores, light organs distributed over the body, head, funnel, and arms.
