Are public certificates from AWS Certificate Manager free?
Non-exportable public certificates used with ACM-integrated services such as Elastic Load Balancing, CloudFront, and API Gateway have no certificate charge. Exportable public certificates are paid products, while the underlying AWS services still incur their normal charges.
Which AWS Region should hold a certificate for CloudFront?
A certificate attached to an Amazon CloudFront distribution must be requested or imported in US East, N. Virginia, identified as us-east-1. Regional services such as an Application Load Balancer normally use a certificate in the same Region as that resource.
Does ACM renew certificates automatically?
