description Anycubic Photon Mono X Overview
The Anycubic Photon Mono X is a high-resolution SLA printer designed for creating detailed and smooth 3D models. Its fast curing technology and large build volume enable the production of intricate parts with exceptional surface finish, making it ideal for jewelry design, dental modeling, and miniature creation.
help Anycubic Photon Mono X FAQ
Is the Anycubic Photon Mono X an SLA or an MSLA printer?
It is more accurately described as an MSLA resin printer. A monochrome LCD masks ultraviolet light across an entire layer, unlike a laser-based SLA machine that traces each cross-section.
What is the build volume of the original Photon Mono X?
The original model offers approximately 192 x 120 x 245 mm of build space. That is substantially larger than early desktop resin printers and permits multiple miniatures or a fairly tall model in one run.
Can the Photon Mono X print directly from a USB drive?
Yes, sliced files can be transferred by USB for standalone printing. Anycubic also provided app and Wi-Fi functions, but Wi-Fi is not a replacement for preparing a correctly sliced file.
What safety equipment is needed when using the Photon Mono X?
Uncured photopolymer resin should be handled with nitrile gloves in a well-ventilated area, and contaminated liquid must not be poured down a drain. Prints also require washing and ultraviolet post-curing before normal handling.
