The Arizona silkmoth (*Antheraea oculea*) is a large saturniid moth native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. First described by Neumoegen in 1883, it is frequently referred to as the Arizona Polyphemus moth due to its close relation and visual similarity to the widely known Polyphemus moth. Like other members of its genus, it is distinguished by its prominent eyespots and is primarily of interest to lepidopterists and insect collectors.
