Boudhanath, also called Boudha or the Bodh Stupa, is a large Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. Its white hemispherical dome, square harmika, and tiered structure are arranged around a mandala-based plan, with the Buddha’s eyes painted on the tower above the dome. It is a major pilgrimage and worship site for Tibetan Buddhists and forms part of the Kathmandu Valley UNESCO World Heritage property.
