description Boeing 737-600 Overview

The Boeing 737-600 is the shortest member of Boeing's 737 Next Generation family, a single-aisle jet-airliner series. Boeing introduced it in 1998 as a successor to the 737-500, retaining the 737 family's narrow-body layout while using the newer-generation cockpit, systems, and CFM56-7B engine family. It was designed for short- and medium-haul passenger routes and has a smaller capacity than the 737-700, -800, and -900 variants.
