Boudica
description Boudica Overview
Boudica, also known as Boadicea, was a British queen and warrior who led an uprising against the Roman Empire in 60 or 61 CE. As the wife of Prasutagus, she became the leader after his death when the Romans annexed Britain. Her rebellion, which included the sacking of London and Camulodunum, is one of the most significant examples of indigenous resistance to Roman rule.
