Cabbage moth, Mamestra brassicae (Linnaeus, 1758), is a noctuid moth whose caterpillars feed on cabbage and many other cultivated plants. It is associated with Brassica crops including cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale and related vegetables, but recorded hosts also include crops such as lettuce, peas, potatoes and beets.
