Cindrel Massif is a mountain massif in Romania's Southern Carpathians, in Sibiu County. Its highest summit, Cindrel Peak, reaches about 2,244 metres, and the area includes high alpine grasslands, glacial landforms, forests, and ridges used for hiking. The massif forms part of the Cindrel Mountains and lies near the Transalpina road, one of the high-elevation routes crossing the Carpathians. It is visited as a natural mountain area rather than as an urban destination.
