description Cylinder Chess Overview
Cylinder Chess is a chess variant that connects the board's left and right edges, giving the board a cylindrical topology. A piece moving horizontally can pass across one edge and reappear on the opposite edge, subject to the movement rules of the variant. This changes the geometry of attacks and routes for rooks, bishops, queens, and other pieces compared with an ordinary flat board.
