Doublemove Chess

description Doublemove Chess Overview

Doublemove chess is a chess variant in which each player makes two consecutive moves during a turn. The extra move changes the timing of attacks, defenses, captures, and threats compared with standard chess. Because a player can reposition a piece and then use the second move to support it or create a new threat, combinations develop more quickly. The variant is intended for players interested in an accelerated, tactically dense form of chess.
