Fernando Romero is a Mexican architect and the founder of FR-EE, formerly known as Fernando Romero Enterprise. He designed Museo Soumaya's Plaza Carso building in Mexico City, which opened in 2011. The museum's asymmetrical silver exterior uses more than 16,000 hexagonal aluminum panels, and the building was developed with engineering advice from Ove Arup and architectural advice from Frank Gehry. Romero's work includes contemporary museums and other large public projects.
