What does RGBIC mean on a Govee light strip?
RGBIC uses independent control chips so multiple colors can appear on different strip segments simultaneously. A conventional RGB strip generally shows one selected color across its full illuminated length.
Can a basic Govee RGBIC strip sync with a television picture?
It can react to sound through supported music modes, but ordinary RGBIC strip kits do not analyze the TV image by themselves. Govee DreamView products add a camera or compatible sync hardware for screen-color matching.
Can I cut and reconnect a Govee RGBIC strip?
Many Govee RGBIC models are not designed to be cut because doing so can break segment addressing or disable part of the strip. Follow the markings and instructions for the exact model rather than assuming standard RGB-strip rules apply.
