Its Vanguard electronic fuel-injection system meters fuel electronically instead of relying on a conventional carburetor. The mower uses an 810 cc V-twin engine, with EFI intended to improve starting and fuel management under changing conditions.

The 328G4 EFI belongs to Grasshopper's 300G Series MidMount line, so its cutting deck sits beneath the operator rather than ahead of the machine. It is a commercial zero-turn design intended for maneuvering closely around landscape obstacles.

The mower carries 13 gallons of fuel, giving it substantially more capacity than a typical residential zero-turn. Actual runtime depends on deck load, terrain, engine speed, and how frequently the operator stops or idles.

Its commercial MidMount chassis, zero-turn steering, and large fuel tank make it primarily a machine for contractors, institutions, and owners maintaining extensive properties. It is considerably more specialized than a small residential riding mower sold for occasional lawn cutting.
